I know this massager heating pad is meant to be used on your elbow, knee, or shoulder, but I have been using it on my back. I have a problem with muscle spasms in my back and I have several heating/cooling pads that I use. I did not have one that massages and heats. Since this comes with extensions for the straps, I am easily able to strap it around my back and chest. It hits right where I need it. The massager part is really more of a vibration, but it still feels good on my sore muscle. This has 3 heat levels which increase gradually each time you push the button to increase the heat level. There are also 3 massage levels. I don't really feel an increase of the massage levels, it's more of an increase in massage (vibration) frequency. The material is soft and stretchy and seems quite durable. The heating/vibrating controller is rechargeable, and a charging cable is included. It was not charged when I received it but I charged it for about 90 minutes and it worked well when I used it. The heating display is shown in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, which I would have to convert, but it also shows in low, medium, and high so it doesn't really matter. This massager heating pad works well for my needs.
